FAQ

Questions we get before every first booking.

How is LCL priced?+

By weight or measurement, whichever yields the greater chargeable volume (W/M), plus origin CFS and destination charges. We quote both components up front so nothing arrives as a surprise at destination.

Is rail faster than sea to Europe?+

Yes for inland destinations — typically 12–20 days door-to-door versus 25–40 by sea, at a cost between ocean and air. It is usually the best compromise for inland Europe.

Who pays destination charges?+

It depends on the Incoterm. Under FOB the buyer covers destination costs; under CIF/DAP we do until the agreed point. We state the split explicitly on every quotation.

Can you issue the bill of lading yourselves?+

Yes. We hold an NVOCC filing, so we issue House B/Ls in our own name, with the associated carrier liability and insurance cover.
